Had Machaca eggs and beans was good and filling

The server was great, however the food wasn’t, my husband asked for an Horchata and they don’t have Mexican drinks at all, one of Salas looked and tasted like tomato sauce, my husband asked for one of the breakfast plates that came with hash brown but they gave him rice instead and made it more of a lunch then breakfast, and I ordered a chimichanga, the chicken tasted like the chunk of chicken that comes in a can. Was disappointed! Didn’t give me the experience I was expecting for being a Mexican restaurant.

This is a family restaurant of the news we go to in Phoenix. Fantastic hot sauce! Love their food! Over the years ....its still the grey same taste.

No safe enviroment..no gloves no masks..not good for food so so

Doesn’t really feel like a Mexican restaurant due to uber Anglo-brain menu presentation plus the usual twangy trumpy Wickenburg vibe. Food was serviceable if tone deaf. They rotary-phoned in the salsa and chips, and my huevos rancheros weren’t prepared correctly. Service was courteous and efficient.

We had a fantastic server, funny, knowledgeable, smart, and freidly.Food was great, red chile burro great !!Chile Relleno combo meal was great.Must have a cheese crisp.

Best refried beans I've ever had, the rest of the did was wonderful as well. Everyone was very friendly. Very cheery welcoming atmosphere

Delicious, authentic Mexican food. I had the fry bread and I will be going back for more. We had to take home some of their hot sauce because it's so good. It pairs nicely with eggs.Definitely check this place out.

We drove about an hour and a half and it was worth it. Jessica was awesome and the food was even better.

If you like authentic Mexican food, this is the place. They served excellent food at a reasonable price. Lydia and the entire staff were friendly and went above and beyond.

places good authentic Mexican has great atmosphere just don't go there if you're not a trump supporter because they always have news on which is towards Trump and that's not something that I think is appropriate for a restaurant to be playing only news and that's it like I said the food is always great but with the lack of wait staff sometimes you have a wait just to get your water or drink refilled and to me that is poor management style or just lack of interest on the employee so I only go there when I know that I have got time to wait

If you think of taco sauce as salsa and tabasco is very spicy, you will probably like this place. The service is very good and friendly. The quality of the food is excellent as freshness goes and the place is clean.That being said it’s not my idea of Mexican so we probably will not be back.

They are serving dining in. Delicious enchilada special. Nice to be able to dine out again.

Delicious food! #13 was very very good. Lydia is such a nice lady! She came by to check on us. The waitress was on top of it getting us refills. All in all an excellent experience and will definitely be back!

Definitely deserve more stars! It is authentic and full of flavor Service was just as amazing as the food. We were passing through on our way home. But we decided this place is worth the hour drive for date night. Cant say enough good about this place. We found our spot!

Lydia's does a great job serving delicious food. We have stopped going since they keep FOX news on all TVs all the time. Not the ambiance we're looking for!

OMG! THE SAUCE FOR THE CHIPS IS AWESOME! We bought a quart to bring home to California. I wish I had the recipe. Arizona is to far too drive for more.

Good place to pop into for a quick meal when on the highway and driving through town.

Walked in was greeted and sat right away. Server got our drinks and put chips and salsa on the table very quickly. Food came out very hot and was delicious. The offer various discounts to include Veterans. Definitely recommend this place.

We made a random stop and so fortunate to find this place. Great Mexican restaurant. The owner is a sweetheart. Met an older customer and friend if theirs who was turning 101...! They were having a party for her. So sweet!!! Food was great, people were great, service was great and my experience was great! I hope to go back there again.

Food is great, service is very friendly, prices are just below typical. I noticed that waitresses aren't wearing masks, while the cashier was wearing one.

Food wasn't bad but not sure about the hygiene. The waitress didn't wear a mask and there was a guy wiping seats but not tables with no bottle or spray - just rubbing the seats with the same dry cloth as if that would do anything.

Amazing enchiladas & the refried beans are the best! Fantastic family run business; would recommend that everyone goes!

Ordered the Fiesta combo. Very pleased. Great food, good prices, wonderful service!

I really enjoyed the spicier salsa, it was flavored with chili and reminded me of enchilada sauce salsa style. I got the green chili, corn, cheese tamale and ordered another one because it was so good! I will be back.

Ate at Lydia's today. Excellent! Food was delicious and service was fantastic. Immaculately clean. I highly recommend Lydia's!

We have been here a couple of times now. The complimentary chips and salsa are really good. The mild salsa is chunky with just enough spice. The hot sauce has a spicy smoky flavor which I found addictive. Poured it on my eggs and bacon, so good. We enjoy driving out from Phoenix because the food is good enough to come out.

Lydia's La Canasta Restaurant is always a great spot for us. The be property is always spotlessly clean, the food is very good and always hot when served by very good servers....I don't have a bad word to say about the place or the personnel
